General Applications
Forest Lite™ Type 2 is a single jacket, polyurethane lined lightweight hose intended for use in wildland fire suppression


Construction

Lining
The Thermoplastic extruded PU interior lining shall be a single-ply extruded tube and shall be unaffected by ozone. The finished form shall be free of pits or other imperfections and shall have a smooth finish. No reclaimed material shall be used.

Jacket Construction
The jacket is a combination of 100% virgin synthetic high tenacity virgin synthetic yarn and spun yarn. The jacket is thoroughly impregnated with a polymer compound, yellow in color, to provide superior resistance to chemicals, abrasion and ultra-violet light. Hose shall be firm in texture, flexible and free from knots, lumps and irregularities. The jacket shall be treated to be resistant to mildew.
